Sweetwater Cottage: Immaculate Waterfront Lake House with Direct Access to Shimmering Lake Buel. This charming, spotless 4-season home is perched on a small hill with lovely views of Lake Buel, which is a wonderful lake for swimming, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, skating and ice fishing - weather permitting, of course! Guests will enjoy a large, flat lawn with a dock, 4 kayaks, and 1 canoe is available for guests use.
The open concept cottage, with a wall of windows, allows guests to drink in the pretty lake views. The main floor hosts the kitchen, living room, 3 season screened porch, main floor bedroom and the full bathroom. The kitchen has every gadget and stainless appliances (freezer/fridge, electric range, dishwasher and microwave + coffee maker, toaster, and blender) to assist you with your home cooked meals. The kitchen opens in to the dining area with seating for 8 guests and also opens into the living room with a large sectional sofa and Smart TV with access to streaming channels like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The wood stove is located in this central area and keeps everything cozy when the temperature drops. The screened in "Summer Room" is located off of the living room and offers guests several options for spreading out, reading, napping, dining, playing a card game or working a puzzle! This fabulous screened porch is very popular mid-April though late October and sometimes on warmer sunny winter days... if tuck into one of the many cozy blankets available. The main floor, primary bedroom, has a queen bed, TV, and pretty views of the lake. There is a full bathroom also on the main floor, just a short walk from the bedroom. There is a tub/shower combo and a washer dryer. The second floor has 3 more guest bedrooms, which all share a full bath. This bathroom has a brand new walk-in, glass shower, just installed in 2020. Guest bedroom #2 has a queen bed, Guest room #3 has 2 twin beds with lake views, and Guest room #4, also with lake views, has a full bed. Outside Guests will enjoy the private stone patio with outdoor seating, a sun umbrella, and propane grill. A sturdy stone path leads from the back patio, past the fire-pit area, with additional seating, down to the water. Just before the water, the large level yard is perfect for outdoor games, picnicking, or sunbathing. Guests have access to a dock as well as the 4 kayaks and a canoe - so fun!
